Fremantle Women’s Health Centre is a not-for-profit community health centre for women living and working in the south west metropolitan region. We provide a range of clinical, preventive and health promotion services in the area of women's health. These include medical, nursing, counselling, health education and group activities, with a crèche facility for some groups and appointments. These services are provided by experienced, caring, female health professionals.
Services are based on a social model of health that acknowledges that health is determined by a broad range of social, environmental, economic and biological factors. We aim to ensure that services and facilities are inclusive of all women regardless of age, ability, religion, culture, sexual orientation or socio-economic circumstances.
We are dedicated to women-centred care that aims to provide a safe environment in which you can access a variety of health care and health education options. We respect your individuality and encourage you to become equal and active partners in your health care.
Our Centre is open five days a week, Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30 for appointments. Group activities can operate on these days as well as week nights and weekends. The group room and crèche are available for hire to facilitators who can provide activities for women that complement and extend the core services offered.
We also provide some outreach clinical, group and health promotion services in our region.
